What am I not understanding about the NATO Summit: businesses shut down, expressways shut down, streets shutdown, buses shut down, locals cant get to work, radical nut jobs protesting and possibly rioting, predicted terrorist attacks. How is this good for Chicago? Wouldn't it make more sense to have the summit leaders just webcam their meeting on Skype & stay home? What are we being paid to slow down commerce & hinder progress for a week? Am I just ignorant? It almost seems like we're being punished.
